Edward T. Holtz, 71, of Fairport Harbor, passed away Thursday, April 30, 2020, at his residence.
Born Feb. 3, 1949, in Cleveland, he had lived in Euclid before moving to Lake County 18 years ago.
Edward was a member of the Cleveland Museum of Natural History Trout Club, was an avid fly fisherman, enjoyed traveling, especially trips to Alaska and was a diehard Cleveland Browns fan.
Mr. Holtz was a retired salesman for Universal Oil in Cleveland.
He was the beloved husband of 42 years to Marilyn C. (nee Jelenic) Holtz; and loving father of Christopher J. Holtz, Edward B. “Eddie” Holtz, and Stephanie M. (Dan) Calascibetti.
Edward was preceded in death by his parents, Edward B. and Gertrude (nee Stucker) Holtz.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, a Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date. Burial will be held at Mentor Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in his name may be made to Hospice of the Western Reserve, 17876 St. Clair Ave., Cleveland, OH 44110.
