Obituary for Peter H DeGrandis Sr.
Peter H. DeGrandis Sr., 80, of Willoughby, passed away Monday, July 6, 2020, at Lake Health West Medical Center in Willoughby.
Born Aug. 31, 1939, in Cleveland, he had lived in Cleveland before moving to Lake County 44 years ago.
He was a member of the Sons of Italy and the Mentor Eagles. Pete loved and enjoyed going out with his friends.
Pete was the beloved husband of 58 years to Annette D. (nee Fiorino) DeGrandis; loving father of Katie M. (Gregg Sr.) Kelley, Theresa E. (Ronald A. ) Perkins, Peter H. (Brenda) DeGrandis Jr., and Anthony J. DeGrandis (Donald Murphy); cherished grandfather of Michael (Lauren), Gregg Jr., Angella, Ronald and Nicholas; great-grandfather of Jordyn (Larrisa), Austin, Arianna, Tristan, Symone, Kaitlin, Nevaeh, Jayda and Kali Jo; brother-in-law of Irene DeGrandis; and uncle of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul Sr. and Ruth (nee Henry) DeGrandis; and siblings, Paul (Rita) DeGrandis Jr., Ralph (June) DeGrandis, and Michael DeGrandis.
Friends may call from 12 to 2 p.m. Wednesday at McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Home, 38001 Euclid Ave., Willoughby, with a prayer service to be held at 1:45 p.m. Burial will be in Willoughby Memorial Gardens.
