It is with a heavy heart and deep sadness we announce the passing of David L. Dickard, age 62, of Brooklyn, Ohio, formerly of Euclid.
Dave lost his battle with ALS August 7, 2020, with his devoted wife, Marylou (nee Kalista) at his side. David was a dear husband, son, father, “Papa,” brother, nephew, uncle, cousin, and treasured friend.
Dave enjoyed “chillin” and “fishin” with Marylou at their “estate” in Holiday Camplands. To know Dave, is to know that Dave had a zest for Busch beer, Marlboro cigarettes and mild wings.
Due to COVID-19, no services are planned. A Memorial Mass will be announced at a later date.
Arrangements are entrusted to McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Homes in Willoughby and Mentor.

We send heartfelt condolences to the entire Dickard Family. David made the world a better place. We met at Travel centers and worked together @ the Service Desk. Will always cherish his stories, the homemade spaghetti sauce, his sense of humor and caring heart. I learned how to grow garlic from Dave. On Saturdays he was the "keeper of the tunes".....lightly playing music in the background on his blue tooth speaker. He loved his place by the Pond, and cherished his wife Mary Lou. We say goodbye to a great guy and friend. One day, I will see him again. We will always miss you Dave!!! Jennifer Cobb

Sympathy and prayers to all the Dickard family. I worked with Dave at Travel Centers for 7 years and we weren't just coworkers but friends too. I really enjoyed Dave's story telling and adventures and how to advice. We had a lot of meals shared at work since we worked 12 hour shifts back then. I also grew up in Euclid and we shared many memories of the area. Dave has left us too soon, he will be missed by so many🙏💔 Eileen Warnick
