Obituary for Delores "Babe" Lender

“Together Again”

Delores “Babe” (nee Wyda) Lender, 86, of Euclid, passed away peacefully Aug. 29, 2020, at Danbury Senior Living in Mentor.
Born April 26, 1934, in German Township, Pa., she had been a resident of Euclid for 60 years.
Delores was a member of St. Stephens Byzantine Catholic Church in Euclid. She enjoyed making pierogis, fillings and pastries for the church, was a very good cook and loved making and baking cookies.
The family wishes to extend a special thank you to the wonderful staff and caregivers at Danbury Senior Living.
Delores was the loving mother of Linda S. (Paul) Lender-Peroni and Richard A. (Sue) Lender; loving grandmother of John Paul Peroni, Matthew Alan (Christine) Lender, Ryan Michael Lender and Nicole Christine Lender; sister of Albert (Anna Marie) Wyda of Florida; sister-in-law of Dee Jones of Texas, Shirley Krakora of Chardon and Kitty McCusker of Pennsylvania; and dear aunt of many.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Donald R. Lender; parents, Frank and Anna (nee Sidej) Wyda; and siblings, Anna Fenton, Marie Shine, Helen D’Zamba, Frank Wyda Jr., Evelyn Rittenweger, Andrew Wyda, Julia Wyda, George Wyda, Mike Wyda, John Wyda, Charles Wyda and Margaret Wyda.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, private family services were held. Delores will be interred together with her late husband, Donald at St. John Byzantine Cemetery in Hopwood, Pa., in 2021.
