Obituary for John Burger

John R. Burger, 35, of Painesville Township, passed away Thursday, July 23, 2020, at his residence.
He was born May 1, 1985, in Euclid.
John enjoyed music and playing the guitar. He also loved his nieces and nephews dearly.
He was the beloved son of Carol A. Burger (Norm Milavec), and John P. Burger (Carmen Pomares); dear brother of Michele L. (Brian) Iams, Shane Burger, Amy Milavec, and Norman (Jamie) Milavec; stepbrother of Armando and Eduardo Rivera; uncle of Liam, Declan, Marley, Mason, Ana, Linnea and Emma; maternal grandson of Glenda Irvine; paternal grandson of Celine Burger; and nephew of Pat Burton, Robin (David) Spooner, Kim (Steve) Burke, Frank Burger, Jeff (Coleen) Burger, Julie Semega, Cindy (Ray) Clark, Bridget (Vic) Nolan and Elaine Harkless.
John was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Robert Irvine; and paternal grandfather, Frank Burger.
Family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Home, 6330 Center St. (Route 615, north of Route 2), in Mentor, with a Celebration of Life Service at 7:30 p.m. Burial will be in Willoughby Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in his name may be made to the Lakeland Community College Welding Program, Hope Over Heroin, or the Music Therapy Program at the Willoughby Fine Arts Association.
