Obituary for Loretta Sue Matusz
Graveside services for Loretta Sue (nee Cardarelli) Matusz, 82, of Streetsboro, will be 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 1, at Markillie Cemetery, 401 N. Main St., Hudson.
Mrs. Matusz passed away Tuesday, July 28, 2020, at Hospice House in Cleveland.
Born Aug. 14, 1937, in Cleveland, she had lived in Chesterland, Chagrin Falls and Hudson before moving to Streetsboro.
Loretta was a graduate of Bedford High School, who loved bingo, casinos, Cleveland sports and her family. You were always welcome into her home and many called her "Mom."
She was the loving mother of Victoria L. Matusz, Sally S. (Edward) Patriarca, Lori V. (Alan) Murray and Terri M. (Doug) Havekost; cherished grandmother of Nicole Tibbitts, Eddie Patriarca, Alyssa Patriarca, and David Tibbits Jr.; sister of Joanna (Lenny) Cosentino; sister-in-law of Veronica Hutchinson and Donna Matusz; and aunt of nieces and nephews.
Loretta was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Richard L. “Dick” Matusz; parents, Liberato and Anna (nee Siciliano) Cardarelli; siblings, Louisa Beam and Eleanora (Sam, dec.) Comandatore; and brothers-in-law, Gordon Hutchinson, Andy Matusz, and Donald (Sandy, dec.) Matusz.
