I have just learned of the passing of Reza. My sincere condolences to his family. Reza was incredibly passionate about his students, their learning, and his teaching. I enjoyed his willingness to share his areas of expertise with me when I was a new adjunct faculty member at Lakeland. I also enjoyed his willingness to share his view of politics and the world---giving me a glimpse into another place without leaving my seat. My heart is saddened to hear this news today, but I hope it brings you a bit of comfort to know how much he was respected.

To Reza's Family,
Please accept my condolences for the loss of Reza. I am a coworker of his and will miss his optimistic, upbeat attitude. I am sure he will be missed by the many students that he has helped with his positive and encouraging approach as an educator throughout his many years of teaching. This is truly a loss for the students, both past and future, in the Math Emporium at CSU.

I was very sorry to hear of the passing of Reza. When I think of Reza, I think about a man who loved to teach, enjoyed laughing, and was willing to discuss the important aspects of life. We had many interesting conversations over the years. May God give all of you peace during these days.
